Health & Safety Policy

Our commitment to your safety throughout every journey

The Directors and Management of WildPulse Adventures Ltd recognise their responsibility to ensure all reasonable precautions are taken to provide high levels of safety for clients, staff, and partners throughout every tour we operate.

Our Safety Management System — Aims & Objectives

WildPulse Adventures is committed to health and safety as a core operational priority. Our safety management system is designed to:

  • Continually review and update this policy to reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all suppliers provide safe, well-maintained transport and accommodation that meets applicable standards.
  • Develop and train our team to meet and exceed established safety standards.
  • Seek regular customer feedback and conduct thorough post-tour evaluations.
  • Complete formal accident reports for any incidents and review our safety practices on an annual basis.

Accommodation

  • All accommodation partners must hold appropriate public liability cover and comply with local and national fire safety, structural safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Food and beverage suppliers used during our tours must comply fully with applicable food hygiene regulations.
  • Any accommodation being used by WildPulse Adventures for the first time is reviewed in advance by a member of our team to ensure it meets our standards.

Transportation

  • All transport operators must comply with local and national road transport regulations.
  • WildPulse Adventures verifies operating licences, vehicle roadworthiness certificates, and public liability insurance for all transport providers.
  • All drivers are subject to background checks before being engaged to carry our clients.
  • Vehicles must be equipped with individual seat belts for every passenger, a stocked first-aid kit, and a functional music system for passenger comfort on long journeys.
  • Comfort breaks are included on all long-distance journeys.

Tour Managers / Guides

All guides and tour managers contracted by WildPulse Adventures are engaged on a freelance basis and are thoroughly background-checked before being approved to lead our tours. We work only with experienced, licensed guides who share our commitment to client safety and responsible tourism.

Emergency Guidance

In the event of an accident, medical emergency, or vehicle breakdown, WildPulse Adventures will work in close coordination with the client's travel insurer, relevant transport companies, and local authorities to ensure the situation is resolved as swiftly and safely as possible.

WildPulse Adventures reserves the right to engage a transport supplier without full prior verification in genuine emergency situations where speed of response is paramount to client safety.

Visits and Excursions

  • Risk assessments are provided for all visits and excursions included in our itineraries.
  • For school and college groups, supervising adults hold direct responsibility for the safety and behaviour of the children in their care during all activities.
  • Sites and activity venues are visited in advance by our team wherever possible to ensure they meet our safety and quality standards.

In the Event of an Emergency

All group leaders, travel agents, guides, and drivers operating on behalf of WildPulse Adventures are provided with a 24-hour contact number for the WildPulse Duty Officer.

Emergency contact details for local authorities, medical services, and evacuation providers are shared with all clients at the start of their tour. We encourage all clients to save these contacts before departing.

Pre-Tour Expectations

  • Clients and group leaders are expected to hold a pre-departure briefing to ensure all members of the group are prepared and informed.
  • WildPulse Adventures provides comprehensive materials covering guiding information, travel logistics, accommodation details, and safety protocols.
  • Group leaders must share any special needs, health considerations, or mobility requirements with WildPulse Adventures well in advance of departure.

Post-Tour Evaluation

Upon completion of every tour, clients are asked to complete a post-tour questionnaire covering all aspects of their experience, including safety, accommodation, transport, guiding quality, and overall satisfaction.

WildPulse Adventures reviews all feedback seriously and responds to any concerns raised. Responses and any resulting policy or operational improvements are communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
