This 14 Days Wildlife Adventure Trip to the Pearl of Africa takes you to Murchison Falls. Expect Big 5, launch trip to the bottom of the falls. Proceed to Kibale for chimps tracking thereafter enter Queen Elizabeth NP. Here, you expect more game drive & launch trip on the Kazinga Channel then continue to Bwindi for the ultimate gorilla experience then a relaxation in Lake Bunyonyi. Head to L. Mburo NP where you will enjoy a boat ride or park walk. Travel back to Entebbe for your outbound flight.

Itinerary
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport – Welcome to Uganda
Welcome to the Pearl of Africa! Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a WildPulse Adventures professional driver-guide who will transfer you to your lodge in Kampala. During the drive, your guide will introduce you to Uganda’s culture, history, and the exciting experiences awaiting you on your safari. After check-in, relax and recover from your journey as you prepare for the adventure ahead.
Kampala City Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour through Uganda’s vibrant capital city. Visit some of Kampala’s most iconic religious and historical landmarks including the Gaddafi National Mosque, Kabaka’s Palace, the Bahá’í Temple, and Amin’s Torture Chambers. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before spending the afternoon at leisure. You may choose to continue exploring Kampala or relax at the lodge.
Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Rhino Tracking & Top of the Falls Hike
After breakfast, depart Kampala and journey north to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience on foot. This sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be seen. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park, home to elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and a remarkable variety of birdlife. Later, hike to the top of the spectacular Murchison Falls where the mighty River Nile squeezes through a narrow 7-metre gorge before plunging 45 metres below.
Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Nile Boat Cruise
Start the day with an early morning game drive across the northern sector of the park. Look out for elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, Uganda kob, warthogs, and numerous bird species including the rare shoebill stork. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before embarking on a scenic afternoon boat cruise along the Nile River towards the base of the falls. Enjoy close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and birds gathering along the riverbanks.
Delta Boat Cruise & Transfer to Hoima
After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy a morning boat cruise to the Nile Delta, one of the best places in Uganda to search for the elusive shoebill stork and other wetland wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch before transferring to Hoima. Along the way, admire scenic views of Lake Albert and the Albertine Rift Valley escarpments.
Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, continue your journey to Kibale National Park, renowned as the primate capital of East Africa. Drive through beautiful countryside landscapes, traditional homesteads, and lush tea plantations around Fort Portal before arriving at your lodge in the evening.
Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your chimpanzee trekking adventure through Kibale Forest. Besides chimpanzees, you may encounter several other primate species including red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and red-tailed monkeys. The forest is also a paradise for bird lovers. Return to the lodge for lunch before heading out for a guided nature walk in the beautiful Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, famous for its biodiversity and community tourism initiatives.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Visit Lake Katwe
After breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the scenic crater lakes region and the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. After lunch and relaxation at the lodge, visit Lake Katwe to learn about the traditional salt mining practices that have supported local communities for generations.
Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Rise early for a morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains in search of elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hyenas, waterbucks, and giant forest hogs. After breakfast and relaxation at the lodge, enjoy an afternoon boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, known for its dense concentration of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and abundant birdlife.
Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha Sector
After breakfast, travel south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive in Ishasha as you search for lions lounging in fig trees alongside elephants, antelopes, and diverse bird species. Optional activity: Visit the Batwa community (USD 80 per person).
Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Accompanied by experienced guides and rangers, trek through the dense rainforest in search of one of Bwindi’s habituated mountain gorilla families. Once found, spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. This once-in-a-lifetime encounter is one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife experiences.
Batwa Community Experience & Nature Walk
After breakfast, enjoy a guided cultural experience with the Batwa community, the original forest inhabitants of Bwindi before it became a national park. Learn about their traditional forest survival skills, music, dance, and cultural heritage while enjoying a scenic nature walk through the surrounding area.
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park – Night Game Drive
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park through the rolling hills of Kigezi and Ankole. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a mini game drive en route to the lodge. Later in the evening, head out for a thrilling night game drive in search of nocturnal wildlife including hyenas, bush babies, and hippos.
Nature Walk & Transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast, enjoy a guided nature walk in Lake Mburo National Park where you may spot zebras, impalas, elands, reedbucks, and a variety of bird species up close. Afterwards, begin your return journey to Kampala/Entebbe with a stopover at the Equator for photos and souvenir shopping. Depending on your flight schedule, a day room can be arranged at an additional cost. Enjoy a farewell dinner before your WildPulse Adventures guide transfers you to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
