About This Trip

The 5 days tour is an amazing safari that will start from the Kenyan capital Nairobi. The first destination will be Amboseli National Park which is at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and is located at the border of Kenya and Tanzania. Visit Tsavo west national park next and later visit Tsavo east national park as the last destination before heading back to Nairobi.

Itinerary

Day 1- Nairobi to Amboseli National Reserve.

Morning departure from Nairobi to Amboseli national park. Arrive in the afternoon at lunchtime, enjoy lunch at the lodge, refresh and relax and later at 16:00HRS leave for the late afternoon game drive in search of wild animals. After the game drive return to the lodge, enjoy the dinner, and then overnight stay at the lodge. Accommodation: Kibo Safari Camp. Meal Plan; Lunch and Dinner.";

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli — Elephants & Maasai Culture

A full day of game drives in Amboseli National Park. Morning drive through the swamps as elephant families wade through the shallows with Kilimanjaro behind them in the early light. After lunch, visit a Maasai manyatta village — arranged with the community — to learn about traditional Maasai warrior culture, cattle herding, and the beadwork that marks social status within the community. Return to the lodge for an evening game drive along the swamp edge. Overnight in Amboseli.

Day 3: Transfer to Tsavo West — Mzima Springs

Drive north-east to Tsavo West National Park and stop at the famous Mzima Springs, where 250 million litres of water per day bubble up through ancient lava rock, filtered crystal-clear by the volcanic rock of the Chyulu Hills. Hippos and crocodiles inhabit the pools; an underwater observatory allows you to watch hippos walking along the riverbed. Continue through the Ngulia Valley, renowned for its raptor and migratory bird populations, before checking in to your lodge. Overnight in Tsavo West.

Day 4: Tsavo East — Aruba Dam & Red Elephant Herds

Cross the Galana River into Tsavo East, one of Africa's largest wildlife areas. Drive along the Galana River, a haven for large Nile crocodiles, hippos, and yellow-billed storks. The Aruba Dam — built across the Voi River — provides year-round water and attracts enormous congregations of wildlife including the park's famous red-dust-coated elephants. Mudanda Rock in the afternoon offers sweeping views across the seemingly endless plains. Overnight in Tsavo East.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

Final dawn game drive in Tsavo East as light floods the red plains and predators make their last moves before the heat of the day. Check out of the lodge and drive back to Nairobi via the Mtito Andei gate. Arrive in Nairobi in the early afternoon — enough time to rest, do last-minute shopping at Maasai Market, or be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight.
