The park is also one of Kenya's most important rhino sanctuaries — both black and white rhino are present in significant numbers, along with lion, leopard, Rothschild's giraffe, Defassa waterbuck, and the endemic Bohor reedbuck. Stop at the Baboon Cliff viewpoint for a sweeping panorama over the flamingo-pink lake and the surrounding forest. Day 3: Full Day in the Masai Mara
Spend a full day in the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, the Kenyan extension of the Serengeti ecosystem and home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth. Morning and afternoon game drives sweep across the rolling grasslands in search of the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — alongside cheetah, hyena, wild dog, and thousands of plains game. Resident big cat populations are unusually dense, and experienced guides know the territories of specific prides and cheetah mothers. Optional sunrise hot-air balloon flight available (additional cost). Overnight in the Mara.

One final dawn game drive in the Mara before the long grasses are lit gold by the morning sun.
