Itinerary
Day 1- Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve.
You will be picked up from the airport upon arrival by a safari guide, after a warm welcome and a short briefing, you will embark on a journey to Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in the reserve in time for lunch after checking into your lodge. In the afternoon you will go for an evening game drive exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara National Reserve. you will be able to see a wide range of wildlife including zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, leopards African wild dogs among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation: Mara Maisha Camp. Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.";
Day 2: Full Day in the Masai Mara
Spend an entire day exploring the Masai Mara, home to one of the densest populations of lion, leopard, and cheetah anywhere in Africa. Morning game drive sweeps the rolling grasslands as herds of wildebeest and zebra move across the plains. Afternoon drive focuses on the Mara River — where massive crocodiles wait for crossing herds — and the acacia woodland fringing the riverbanks, favoured by leopards. Optional sunrise balloon safari over the Mara triangle (additional cost). Overnight in the Mara.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Drive north through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru. En route, stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for a sweeping panorama across the valley floor and distant soda lakes. Arrive at Nakuru for an afternoon game drive: flamingos feeding along the lake shoreline, white rhino grazing on the savanna, Rothschild's giraffe browsing tall acacia trees, and lion resting in the euphorbia forest. Overnight near Lake Nakuru.
Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy — Rhinos & Chimpanzees
Drive north to the equator and Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya's largest black rhino sanctuary and home to the last two northern white rhinos on earth — Najin and Fatu, both female, under 24-hour armed guard. The conservancy also houses a chimpanzee sanctuary for rescued orphans from across East and Central Africa. Afternoon game drive across Ol Pejeta's open plains yields lion, elephant, buffalo, and the beautiful Jackson's hartebeest. Overnight at a Nanyuki area lodge.
Day 5: Morning Ol Pejeta & Return to Nairobi
Final morning game drive in Ol Pejeta — visit the sweetwaters tented camp area where animals congregate at the waterhole — before the three-hour drive back to Nairobi along the foot of Mount Kenya. Arrive in Nairobi by mid-afternoon and transfer to your hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
