Expand allCollapse allDay 1: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
You will be picked from Kampala at 7am and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda. The drive from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park is about 7 hours. You will have a lunch stop along the way. You will check into your lodge and enjoy the view of the park from the comfort of your lodge.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat trip on Kazinga Channel
After early breakfast you shall go for the game drive in the Kasenyi plains and some of the animals to see include: elephants, buffaloes, lions, hyenas, antelopes, etc… You will drive through the crater lakes and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. You shall return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation.
Later you shall go for the afternoon boat safari on Kazinga Channel which is scheduled to start at 2.30pm. The cruise will bring you close to a range of wildlife along the banks of the channel, such as hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, monitor lizards. The channel offers incredible bird watching opportunities as several water birds flock the banks of the channel, for example, pelicans, skimmers, fish eagles, kingfishers etc… The boat cruise is about 2 hours long. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Optional game drive and drive back to Kampala
Today you can go for another game drive in the park before checking out and traveling back to Kampala.
